Let’s Worship!
Our mission at Lutheran Church of Hope is to reach out to the world around us and share the everlasting love of Jesus Christ! One of the many ways we do that at Hope Iowa City is through weekly worship. Whether it’s our Sunday morning contemporary service, or our Kairos Ministry for college students throughout the school year, we work hard to meet people where they are, and share the love of Jesus for all to hear!

Celebration Service
Gather together for weekly worship! Our nursery is available during service for children ages birth to age 3.

Kairos is Lutheran Church of Hope’s college ministry that shares the soul-satisfying love of Jesus!
Wednesdays, 8:00 pm during the University of Iowa academic calendar at Old Brick, 26 E. Market St.

A healthy relationship with Jesus isn’t about perfecting a series of rituals. However, there are healthy habits that Christians can lean into that can help strengthen and deepen their awareness of God‘s love for them. Join us for this seven-week series as we explore seven habits that can lead to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Yearly Theme: A Church After God’s Own Heart
Ten sermon series over 12 months that challenge each one of us individually as Christians, and collectively as a church, to consider how we might draw closer to God and discover the purpose of life this side of heaven. Join us as we focus in on the four “G’s” Gather, Grow, Group and Give – and live out God’s calling for us both individually and as a church family!
