No matter how big or small your gift, please know you are making a difference in growing God’s kingdom and making heaven more crowded!
Ways to Give
1. Give Online
You can give once or set up recurring gifts easily and securely online. Gifts can be designated to Iowa City by selecting the appropriate drop-down using your checking account, debit card or credit card.
2. Check or Cash Gifts
Gifts can be dropped off during worship at the designated buckets. Please make checks payable to Lutheran Church of Hope Iowa City.
3. Financial Planning
Lutheran Church of Hope’s Legacy Foundation is established for those looking to contribute to Hope in their long-term financial planning, including wills or trusts. Learn more about the Hope Legacy Foundation.
4. Qualified Charitable Distributions
If you are 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free donation from your IRA directly to the church. If you are 73 or older, your qualified charitable distribution can also count toward your required minimum distribution.
5. Non-Deductible Contributions
Do you receive an employer match for charitable contributions? Do you support Hope with donor advised funds or through a third party? View your non-deductible contributions to confirm they have been received by Hope in your name.
