Weekly Services

Let’s Worship!

Our mission at Lutheran Church of Hope is to reach out to the world around us and share the everlasting love of Jesus Christ! One of the many ways we do that at Hope Iowa City is through weekly worship. Whether it’s our Sunday morning contemporary service, or our Kairos Ministry for college students throughout the school year, we work hard to meet people where they are, and share the love of Jesus for all to hear!

Serve at Hope Iowa City!

Serving others is one of the greatest blessings for us and for God! We’d love to have you be the hands and feet of Jesus in these ways:

  • Hospitality: Help us welcome all who come for worship by serving in a hospitality role.
  • Production: Help us with set-up and tear-down before and after service, or be a part of the technical side of worship.
  • Nursery and HopeKids: Love Jesus and little children with our Children’s Ministry.

Yearly Theme: 52 for ’25

Each week throughout 2025, we’ll take on one of the 52 most asked questions of faith. Weekly sermons, podcasts, classes, small group discussion guides, daily devotions, and more will help us discover God’s truth and his freedom-producing answers to our best questions!
