Baptisms at Hope Iowa City
At Lutheran Church of Hope, we believe baptism is a sacrament, commanded by God, where water is powerfully connected to God’s lifesaving Word. And, because God’s Word is present, we experience the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life! Baptisms at Hope Iowa City take place within our regular weekend service (Sunday at 9:30 am). Online Baptism Class
Hope holds a monthly Baptism Class via Zoom from the Ankeny campus to explain why being baptized is important and how you and/or your children can be baptized. Membership in the church is not required.
